Frequently Asked Questions

  • Orders received by 4pm Friday are baked over the weekend for Monday postage. Orders received by 3pm Tuesday are baked Wednesday for Thursday postage.

  • Brownies are baked twice per week in small batches and posted out on a Monday and Thursday morning with Royal Mail next day delivery. They ‘should’ arrive either Tuesday or Friday, but may be a day later depending on postal service. They fit through a letter box so you do not need to be at home to receive.

  • Yes, if you’d like to save on postage the brownies can be collected from BH5, Bournemouth. Just choose collection at the checkout and I’ll be in touch to arrange. Brownies should be ready for collection on the Monday or Thursday.

  • If the weather is warm the brownies may become a little soft during transit. Pop them in the fridge for a couple of hours upon arrival to firm them up. They can then either be stored in the fridge, or at room temperature. They are best served at room temperature or slightly warmed for 20 seconds in the microwave.

  • You can reach me anytime via the contact form on the ‘About’ page or email me via poppy@poppysbakes.uk. I aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.

  • The brownies contain eggs, milk and wheat.
This feels like a good place to also log that Poppy has her FSA ‘Food allergy and intolerance training’ certificate and a ‘Food Hygiene Level 2 certification’.

If you require a gluten free version, just get in touch and that can be arranged.
